Re-Imagining Special Education is undergoing an exciting transformation. We are currently rebuilding our website and re-branding to better serve families across the country. In January 2026, we will relaunch as Empowering Parents Network, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to connecting and supporting parents of children with disabilities.

Empowering Parents Network (EPN) brings families together—uniting parents who want to better understand the special education process and connect with others who share similar experiences.
Mission: Bringing together parents of children with disabilities to understand the special education process and find peer support from families across the U.S.
Purpose: To educate parents about what to expect throughout their child’s educational journey while building a virtual community of peer support.
Vision: To empower parents with the knowledge needed to effectively advocate for their child’s educational experience.

From the moment a child is diagnosed with a disability, parents often feel unprepared for the path ahead. Whether you are just beginning, navigating major transitions, or preparing for post-secondary opportunities, EPN walks alongside you. We support families one-on-one to help them understand their rights, set realistic and meaningful goals, and create personalized plans that help children thrive.

As part of our expansion, EPN is developing the Cloud Collective—a virtual hub where parents, family organizations, and community groups can access shared resources, on-demand learning, live workshops, and nationwide peer-to-peer support. The Cloud Collective will bring families, educators, and community partners together in one collaborative digital space.

Our new website is under construction—designed to offer more connection, more tools, and more support than ever before.
